About Bay State Machine
Company History
Bay State Machine Co. (BSM) is a family owned and operated business, founded in 1977, by Frank J. Basile. The business opened in a converted three-car garage in the Bay State section of Northampton, MA. The company quickly grew and moved to a larger building in the Northampton Industrial Park in Northampton, MA in 1980, and remained at that location until 2005. In 2005, again needing more space, BSM renovated a building in the Easthampton Industrial Park in Easthampton, MA. BSM now has 30,000 square feet of manufacturing space that includes a machining floor, centrally located Inspection Department, tumbling and sandblasting rooms, saw cutting capabilities, and a state-of-the-art air quality control system.
For over 40 years, BSM has provided quality machining services to a wide variety of industries including ordnance, medical, automotive, industrial, food service, computer, and sporting. We take pride in the satisfaction of our customers and are committed to meeting and exceeding customer requirements.
